1. Who we are
WakeHero is a free alarm clock app for iOS, Android and the web, operated by Northstack Studio ("we", "us"). This policy explains what data the app does and does not collect.
2. The short version
WakeHero has no account and no login. Your alarms and preferences are stored only on your device. We never upload them to a server. The only data we collect is anonymous usage analytics and anonymous crash reports that help us improve the app — never personal information, and never anything used to identify or track you.
3. What we collect
- Anonymous usage analytics (via Google Firebase) — aggregate, non-identifying events such as an alarm being created, toggled or deleted, and theme or language changes. They contain no personal identifiers and are not tied to an account.
- Anonymous crash & performance diagnostics (via Sentry) — if the app crashes or runs into a problem, we receive a diagnostic report so we can fix it.
- Basic device information — for diagnostics only (such as device model and OS version). This is not linked to your identity.
4. What we do NOT collect or do
- No account, so no name, email, or password.
- No contacts, location, health, financial or payment data.
- No advertising and no ad identifiers.
- No selling of data and no cross-app tracking. Data is not linked to your identity and is not used for tracking.
5. Third-party services
We use Google Firebase (anonymous usage analytics) and Sentry (anonymous crash and performance diagnostics). They process anonymous diagnostic data on our behalf solely to help us operate and improve the app.
6. Where your data lives
Your alarms, labels, and settings are stored locally on your device. They work offline and are never sent to us or to any server.
7. Notifications
WakeHero asks for notification permission for one reason only: so your alarms can ring. You can change or revoke this permission at any time in your device's system settings.
8. Children
WakeHero is not directed at children under 13. Because there is no account and no personal data collected, we do not knowingly collect information from children.
9. Your choices
You can revoke notification permission in your OS settings at any time. Uninstalling the app removes all locally stored alarms and preferences from your device.
10. Changes
If we make material changes to this policy, we will update this page and revise the date above.
